Default Windows 7 and Catalyst.

Is it common for CCC to crash every time the system boots?
I have tried 9.6 and the recently leaked 9.7.
Everything was done correctly with the install like driver sweeper and installing in safe mode but every time the system boots they seem to crash.
They still show up in my list of processes but have to be manually stopped before I can re start CCC.

Also if I go to the welcome page on CCC they will crash right away.

Does CCC need to be running for all the effects of AA and AAA etc to take place?

I know this is a lot of questions but I am a bit confused as I have always used Nvidia in the past.

Thanks.

i used to have a similar problem, but when i upgraded to win 7 rc it went away,

yes i believe ccc does need to be running for those effects.
