Sweet! That's a pretty high vcore for that Intel chip, though.

The ole' QX6850 is tough, I run it at 445 x 9 = 4.0 Ghz. 24/7 temps are 39c idle & 72c load.

72°? That's crazy, I thought the max on those things was like 63°. I freak out when my chip reaches 40° at 4.0GHz and 1.478v.

Intel's specs say that the thermal limit for the QX6850 is 65c., however the thermal limit for a Q6600 is 72c.

I am not quite sure why a Extreme chip has a lower limit.....

I have only had this chip above 65c for short periods of time to get benchies and test for stableness.
