Well, I just got in some new parts for my storage server. I decided to upgrade it to 2 gigs of ddr2 800 and get it a dedicated video card seeing as how it has my movie collection on it and would make a good HTPC... I opted for a Gigabyte HD4350 512mb card because it is cheap as hell, comes with a rebate, delivers acceptable performance, has all the connectors I need, and its the only one I could find that was overclocked from the factory. I poped this bad-boy in and installed the latest catalyst drivers. Everything went smoothly with the CCC installation, however, upon rebooting I had 2 unknown devices along with the HD4350. I tried to let windows find the drivers for me, and the first one was successfully detected as an "ATI Function Driver for High Definition Audio - ATI AA01"... The second one however refused to detect, and nothing on the cdrom that came with it wants to detect for its driver. I am thinking this has something to do with the fact that im running XP x64... If anybody has a clue as to what this thing wants, I would be grateful. I will continue to scour google of course, but no luck so far.

Allright, well... I said screw it and formatted and put on Windows XP MCE and the driver issue went away. I did however run into playback issues with this version of media center, It wouldnt play videos, just showed a black screen, and the updates for media center and the service pack would refuse to complete.... I am putting Vista Ultimate X64 on it now, should have a lot less issues there...
