New to Overclock.net
|
which is best with the current drivers to overclock and control fan. i really prefer to use only one tool for both. this will be for vista 32 bit. thanks

I use rivatuner. With the voltage plugin I can dynamically control my card and I love it. When I am idle I set my card to the 490mhz core and 0.825 volts for good stability and low power consumption/heat. When doing moderate gaming I can set it to 750mhz and 1.1v, and when I really need to get up and go I can push my card to 1ghz core with 1.425v. Anyway, for me at least, it works very well. You can also control fan speed in the base package (no tweaking, part of the utility).

Last I DL'd ATI Tray tools it didn't have signed drivers forcing me to do a special boot every time. So I'd say rivatuner unless that's changed.
