Hey guys, I am really frustrated with this one. I finally got my cards under water and got my machine to boot correctly. Now the only problem is as soon as i install the above drivers, my computer screen only shows a black screen on the next reboot. Its on, the monitor is receiving a signal, its just black. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Bye the way, I havent updated my sig, i am running windows vista 64.

Does it show anything on screen during bios and post?

sorry to ask if you are stupid or anything, just checking.
Do you have a CF bridge installed? (just checking) Does it boot properly again after installing the drivers? can your PSU power the cards? (There isn't a brand in your sig) IS your OC stable? (just try putting it back to stock and try again) Are both the cards working fine when by themselves?

His PSU is a Ultra brand, which I think is pretty damn good. I have the Ultra X3 1600w version(running it at 1200w due to plug issue).
__________________It should boot properly even without CF bridge though shouldnt it? It'll just recognize it as individual cards. I'd still go with doing a fully CLEAN reinstall of CCC and the driver.

The cards work fine alone, the crossfire is the killer. I cant even open CCC in safe mode. It says i dont have any compatible GPU's installed.

Try using ATi Tools to enable CF instead of CCC. In fact, uninstall CCC, it hasn't given me anything but headaches. Use the ATi Tools instead. Also try the 9.9s, it's shot in the dark, but it might fix it.

It didnt work. I get the same problem. I am going to try to install windows 7 AGAIN. As soon as I put drivers on it it just wont work. I did notice the card makes a high pitched sound wich is weird. I wish i could disable the cards one at a time to determine if it was a single card making the problem.
