Default MSI Afterburner

MSI Afterburner is a joint venture from MSI and UnWinder of RivaTuner fame. Overclocking, Fan Control, Voltage Control, Temp Monitoring. For ATI/Nvidia GPU's.

Voltage Control won't work for MSI Afterburner, I can move the slider up and down but it won't change :P

You are hitting Apply, right?

Voltage and fan speeds work for my HD5870, but clock speeds never stay when I hit Apply, so I have to use both Afterburner and AMD GPU Tool to overclock my card. Got it up to 1060mhz core @1.35v and 1300mhz ram though

Hey, your XFX HD 4890 is possibly a custom XFX card. I saw in the Afterburner support forums that some XFX HD 4870's use the L6788A voltage regulator. At NCIX forums they say that some custom XFX 48XX cards don't have digital voltage regulators. The VT1165 is currently supported. Support for the L6788A (for 4770/5770/48XXcustom) cards is due in the near future.

Nope, it has a VT1165 Voltage Regulator, I can change it using the VT1165 RivaTuner Plugin.
