Default Need HD3850 512mb unlocked bios.
Hey guys Im trying to find some unlocked bios to get above the 862mhz crap. I have the 068 bios and have read that 071 bios will allow me to get higher. I have googled this and found nothing of importance. Most of the post are old and do not give me any important info.

I was going to, but read that the 068 and 069 bios wont allow above 862mhz even when modded. Then if it doesn't work then the card is bricked until you can flash it back. It would then have to be in a second slot... I cant do that.

Edit: I am using Rivatuner currently

Hmm wow, that doesn't sound good. All my experience is in pre-HD series and HD4000 series, where the sky is the limit with editing the bios. If you don't mind, I'd like to take a look at your bios. Do you know which card had the unlocked bios, I can keep my eye out in case I see it somewhere.

I have not been able to find a good database to find bios info. The problem is the 3850 is the overlooked stepchild of the 3870. I could find alot more info on the 3870, these wont work on mine.
