RivaTuner 2.24c won't overclock both of my cores because i'm on the new 9.9 drivers. I really don't want to downgrade my drivers to overclock, and CCC won't overclock my card either. Can someone help me find a program that will overclock both of these cores?

Only some 4870's with a certain voltage regulator can be adjust with software such as GPU Tool. However, no software can adjust voltage on 4850's. Modifying the voltage from the voltage table in the bios of the 4870 X2, works well. Use GPU-z to backup your bios and then use RBE to edit your copy of the bios, then re-flash.

Use CCC. BTW nothing wrong with last drivers. New drivers probably have to do with 5XXX cards.

Sorry I immediately think people what to do voltage. I believe gpu tool work for overclocking both cores, but not my prefered method. Bios modifying also works best for overclocking the 4850 X2. As you know the 4850 X2 is capped at 700/1200 in the ccc. You can change your ccc's upper limits for overdrive in the bios editor.

CCC isn't working for both gpu's, that's why I needed a different program. People really only read about 10 words of every post anyway.

Why is your ccc not working for both cores? What drivers are you using?

I'm going to be honest with you. I'm happy that you're leaving this thread. I said above that i'm using the 9.9's. If I knew why it wasn't working for both cores I would tell you.
