Well since there have been so many betas for 9.10 it probably means that ATI wants to make sure that they are solid drivers and try and get as many kinks out of (and /or/ improve performance of) 5XXX issues for the Windows 7 release.

That sounds kind of obvious but there is pros/cons of a scheduled monthly release. On the positive side Catalyst has stated that they will start releasing more game patches, meaning (hopefully) that they can focus more on making consistently better drivers and leave the game patches to fix game issues.

1) When you install normal driver CF get enabled automatically. These drivers do that but for the second card they do it incorrectly so you must furn CF off and then back on the know the second card correctly.
2) I don't know how this is possible but as soon as i open GPU-Z 0.3.5 the computer hangs up. Tried 0.3.4 same problem.

In Crysis benchmark i got these results
9.8 - 43.05fps
9.11 - 43.35fps
The power saving feature looks like a good idea but there is still some bugs.

From guru3d:

Crossfire works fine, big performance gain compared to RC6 or RC7.
The second card running at 0 core speed is new power-saving feature that is not quite finished yet and crashes gpuz or other programs.

No real improvement from these drivers.

It is good to post it in the drivers section also for discussion purposes so that this one does not keep getting bumped after it is finished serving its purpose as news.

The driver look like a remake of RC7 from MSI. Hell, it bought back my horizontal tear upon booting into window. MSI has fixed it too.

Still unable to run 3DM Vantage on this. Works fine on MSI RC7 though.

My temps are the same for idle. Also my system uses only 285W idle now instead of 335W before.
