Has anyone seen the new way to download drivers from ati through Driver Robot - Overclock.net

Has anyone seen this new Driver Robot. On every ati page to download drivers automatically re-diverts you to download this program.
Then once you download this program and scan your computer and hit get Driver it takes you to the register page asking for $30 to get your drivers.
*** is this F ing crap ?.
Is there anyway to get around this it wont let me have my drivers ?.

I have never noticed this, are you sure you don't have adware on your PC?

I just tried it yesterday and all links to the specific driver I wanted led me to download Driver Robot.
Maybe it's just us Australians, but could you check it out if you are over in the US it maybe different.
I'll tell you what , I'll take a screenshot. DAMN it's now not there, now this makes me a liar.
But yesterday I was on amd's page and every time I tried to download it always asked me to download Driver Robot.
Unless they where trialing it ?.

I may of had adware, I don't get it I went through my normal ways of getting my drivers from AMD.
The whole select OS then Graphics chipset then model then instead of go it had download, then bang the downloader for Driver Robot popped up and no matter what I did I couldn't get past it all the links to ATI/AMD it always popped up the little download window for Driver Robot.
Then I sent a MSG to AMD ATI about how if this was the way of delivering drivers to us the consumer I would be switching teams.
Then today it doesn't happen at all ??????, I must be going crazy.

Do you use adblockplus and firefox? It could have been a dodgy ad that snuck onto the ATi website.
