Hey i decided to sell my 4890 and im selling it tommorrow to buy a 5850 (then gonna get another in the not too distant future). I just wondered what do i do with drivers? Do i just take the card out leave the drivers then when i get my 5850, just install the new drivers and it will over-write them orr...? Or do i have to fully uninstall the drivers before i take the card out? if so how do i go about doing this? Use some sort of software?
Also will on-board graphics still work if i leave the old drivers or do i have to install drivers for on-board graphics?? I really dont know what to do about this issue so any help would be really good Thanks

The 4890 and 5850 should use the same drivers....

You'll most likely have to reinstall, it might work, but since it is a different piece of hardware, I would recommend reinstalling.

You should uninstall your current drivers with the card still in and use a driver cleaner, then stick your new card in and reinstall drivers. Just to avoid any problems.
