Default HD 5850/Windows Vista 64 new install...VGA driver adapter problems help plz

Here is the message I am getting...

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

When I try to update driver it says it's up to date.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the vga driver adapter as well as the video card drivers multiple times, rebooted the whole 9 yards.

Everything worked good on the first go around, but I had to re-install windows Vista a little bit later and now since the new install I have ran into this problem.

Are you cleaning the drivers out with a driver cleaner, downloading the drivers directly from the manufacturer's website. If your mobo had onboard gfx's be sure to disable that.
