Hey guys for some reason I cannot install the 9.10 64bit drivers on a clean install of Windows 7 pro 64bit. First attempt, I got a BSOD, second attempt after driver cleaner, infinate black screen. Third attempt (driver only) driver failed to install. Anyone having this issue ? Thanks

Might have to give the beta driver a try then.

I ended up taking my ASUS GPU out and installing with a generic PCI GPU card I had laying around, as well as taking out all but 1 stick of my ddr3 ram and all other PCI cards and peripherals. Once I got the OS installed, I added the 4870 card and then booted up and installed the drivers for it. I had to trial and error to figure out which hardware item was keeping me from full install. I think the newer MOBOS and GPU's may be a twist for the WIn 7 installs. Most of the beta testing ,driver updates , etc. were from older boards/hardware.
Good luck from the Lou

Yea, I could never get 9.10 to work either, been using 9.11 beta instead. Kind of a big issue, you'd think...ATI is not at its finest at the moment (driver-wise).

Yeah, it happened to me like 5 times before I figured out it was the default windows 7 ATI drivers causing the BSOD. I had to run driver cleaner for ATI, restart in safe mode, run driver cleaner for ATI again, and make sure it found and deleted the 2 files that windows uses as its default ATI card drivers. Then when i restarted, I had to decline installing the found hardware wizard and install 9.10 for it to work without a BSOD.
