Alright guys, i just upgraded from the 915G based family chipset graphics card, to a shiny ATI Radeon 4670, its not that amazing... not like those fancy 4800 series or 5800 series... but its a mid range card with the potential to hit low-mid level Crysis Warhead (I LOVE GAMING LOL). ATI tool aint working for me... it doesnt want to start up... anyways.. i have FurMark Benchmarking and stability testing tool. and Rivatuner.
i have my unofficial clocks on my signature there but im actually pulling it at a slightly unstable 800 MHz core speed and a wooping (for a 4670) 970MHz mem speed... it is still unstable though... i have latest driver, and dont mind my CPU and other system specs.... im upgrading thouse in April.... AMD Phenom II x3 720 BE baby, 4GB OCz gold edition, and a nice ASUS M4A79XTD EVO!!!! also 2 red LED 120mm fans and a nice OCz 550W fatal1ty PSU, also a new 92mm 4 pin molex fan for my OCz Gladiator. My current clocks are unstable... so little help plez?  -------------------------- Edit1 cant forget GPU Z lol

What is your question, if its about OCing, then use rivatuner or GPUtool
oh i get it, i dont know if you can or not but try bumping your voltage up with GPUtool, i use it on my 4890s.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE. I heard Ford is coming out with heated bumpers in 2010 so your hands don not get cold while pushing it.

Yea... its just i dont know why its unstable... and how to properly overclock it... i just started pulling tabs up...

You first up your clock by few mhz and then test for stability. Continue doing that until you found your max stable clock.
Start with core. If you see artifacts / lockups, you are unstable. Then lower to last stable mhz and you got your max OC for core. Then do the same for the mem and your set.

do i do core... then find max and reset back to stock and do mem on stock speed?

already said im getting an AMD phenom x3 720 black edition... i backed it already... lol
mabey a 4670 is overkill on a pentium 4 and thats why its slow.... you guys thing so? cuz ever since i put this card in... the startup of windows has an extremely slower start up time...
