Default 5850 cannot OC it

I used rivatuner, GPU clock too, ati tool and i cannot OC my 5850.
I get errors similar to : " Cannot load kernel driver, or Error occurred while loading device driver"
When i opened Ati too, i couldn't see the videocard in the menu there, i think it was not detected.
What's to be done?

Others are having similar problems it seems to be an immature driver issue. Don't hold me to that but I am sure it will get better with with newer drivers.

This worked for me but strangeness abound. The MSI Afterburner tool lets me change my voltage (but thats it). I have to use the AMD GPU Clock Tool to actually enter the values for my cores, but make sure you have the right version or it will not work! I am using 9.8.

The sucky thing is you have to disable CCC and have it not start with windows. Thats OK but I can't for the life of me figire out how to have the OC's stick at reboot. Each reboot I have to manually enter the clocks again which are now 900/1175.
