I've got a X800Pro that I havn't used in a long time that I want to fix if possible. I flashed it and it ran great for only a few seconds then started to artifact like crazy. I tried to flash it back but my saved bios would not take nomatter what I did. I was able to flash it back latter to a 800Pro but still with the 16 pipes which one or more are corrupt. Is there any way to go back to the original 12 pipes?

If you use atiflash with the command; atiflash -newbios -f -p 0 filename.bin replacing filename with your bios then this shouldn't preserve any Rom settings and lock the 4 pipelines again.
