I swear to god...Okay, like everyone else, I was anxious for the new line of cards from ATI to come out--not because I want to buy one, and not because I want the prices of current Nvidia ones to come down because I want to buy one of theirs, but merely because I am curious to see what the endproduct's performance will be with all of this hype. But then I got so tired of people talking about it--not us all here at OCN, but idiots on other sites, and it pissed me off so much, I could care less when it comes out. I mean there are already people bashing it who have never used it--making stupid comments about how this feature sucks, or that feature isn't even as good as the 8800, etc. It may or may not be true, but ****, just wait until it's out before making conclusions. And so what if it doesn't kill current Nvidia cards (though it's pathetic that the newer tech release won't beat out the competition's 1+ year old release...). But either way, I'll be glad when it's finally out. Okay, sorry, but I just had to vent. I'm just curious to see actual results of the final product before I make an opinion.

And if they do this, their games will run like crap on any other card except for the r600's so I doubt that they will take that chance.
How do you know all this when the card ISN'T EVEN OUT YET?!?!

Some rumors on Inquirer? Just curious - I think everyone should hold off on bashing the card until they can actually try one.

If you have PCI-E and the required power connectors, it will run in your system.

lol i hope so. I've been getting so many different "theories" like:

- R650 to replace R600.
- R650/R600 pushed back to Q2/Q3 2007
- R600 was cancelled.

and crap like that... all contradicts one another and confuses me of what i sould believe.

Doesnt anyone have the feeling that a 128bit bus on the X2600 series is going to make the card useless? When I read it I thought about a ferrari without an engine or something.
