Question Pixel Shaders or Video Memory

Ok, so I have two options,

Option 1 - 2x Sapphire ATI X1950XT 256MB
Option 2 - 2x Sapphire X1950Pro 512MB

I want to know if the extra Pixel Shaders and such on the XTs are worth compromising 512MB of video memory for.

I'm not a hardcore gamer of any kinds so power usage or performance don't really matter to me that much. I mean, of course it does matter, but I won't be playing games that much, although I do have plans of using my pc on a HDTV so I would be using it at 1920 x 1080 resolution.

I need the 4 outputs, so a single card isn't really an option.

Thanks in advance =]

I thought you could only crossfire the XT cards? But id get the 2 x 256MB cards, since the 512MB (well 1GB in your case) isnt really worth the extra cash since you will not be gaming at resolutions higher than 1080

Video mem doesnt matter that much at all. A 6600GT 128MB will totally destroy a 6200 512MB since has double the pipes.

Umm, you need a master card for the x1950XT. A single X1950XT rapes a single X1950Pro. It's not even a fair match. For teh same price of two of those cards you can get an 8800GTS. With X-Fire you can only use 1 Monitor for the master card. The cards taht do not require a master card can only do two.
