I would take off spread spectrum unless you are expirencing any interference problems. Still sounds like a driver problem though. It wouldn't make sense that the 1Gb would perform worse than the 512Mb.

I was doing better I believe with the E6600 on the 975X but then again I was probably at 3800 or greater to get there...I would have to look at my notes.

Do you have cores disabled in the BIOS? While you are there, disable Spread Spectrum, Vanderpool, etc.

And when you are using AMD GPU clock tool, are you clicking the 3d bubble? otherwise, you are just messing with the 2d clocks.

Orthos is only using one thread... CPU-Z agrees.

Somehow 3 of your cores got disabled.
