Yea, actually I'm starting to think that ccc is one of the most efficient tools for oc'ing the card. Especially for Vista.

The bsod scares everyone off but just check the setting after your restart. CCC, I'm sure has set your gpu to the last "safe" oc. Just click preserve at startup and you're set.

I've not been able to get farther on my own (EDIT: with atitool at least).

I'm running the following on an OCZ GameXtream 700W
2 SATA HDDs
5 case fans
1 2900xt 1Gb
4 Gb ram
E6600 overclocked to 3.2 GHz
1 optical drive
I haven't had any problems at all, and my 12V doesn't fluctuate past 0.05+- on full load (according to a digital multimeter)
Where is you +3.3V at? Mine holds at 3.28....

Remind me with a PM or something here in about a week and I'll tell you.....card is arriving from RMA soon. I would test it, but I'm only running a 2400 Pro ATM (which sucks for gaming...)

I just got my HD 2900xt today. I realized that I have to have both 6 pin hooked up on it or it won't boot up. I could run it like that till my adapter gets here right. I see that I got to have the 8 pin to oc this card. I just didn't want to read all 1,000 pages to get an answer.
It's made by Diamond 512mb. Hope they make good cards

The last card I had from them was a voodoo2 card SLI
