Yeah it seems the 7.9's are a pain the remove. My install 0f the 7.10's was involved to say the least... I have noticed a jump in performance though.

On a side note does anyone know how to get the GPU temps, fan duty cycle and GPU/Mem clocks to update correctly on my G15 via Rivatuner? Also can you get the that info from the AMD GPU Tool on the G15?

Yes. No more price wars. The prices you are seeing these days are actualy losing AMD money. Once one or the other has a monopoly, you got a target on YOUR back.

Cyber hi.

Just some questions..

ATItools. Doesnt work for you right?

When starting up games or even 3dmark06 , does your entire picture slowly roll slowly up the screen (coming back up from the bottom) once?

WHen you load up a new game, do you see a screen shot, momentarily, of the game you just played before? Example you load up game A, and then quit out of it. You load up game B and as its loading up to you see the last screen you saw in game A ?

What games have you run in crossfire?

FOr me, so far,

Team fortress 2, silent hunter 4, world in conflict.

Do you have any of these 3 games?

I have 7 days left to RMA these cards and get new ones, so I am trying to figure out if there is anything wrong with my cards.

I have not tried OCing until right now. I am running CF and using ATI tool. Does that autodrive thing work for crossfire with the 7.10 drivers?

Juat a note about ATItool, I used it to do artifact testing, and it let me go WAYYY higher than my card was capable of running at, and never showed a single artifact. So, if you are wanting to use Atitool for that, just be warned.

Wait, your saying atitools work for you? (not ati tray tools).

Which version of ati tools works? For me I have to take out a card from mobo to make atitools work!

Overdrive works but from what Ive read realy messes with your timings. Doesnt work with CF tho.

However ATI is supposedly going to put out a overdrive that is made for CF.

hey man. use Everest is you have a G15. Get Everest, go to preferences then LCD. you can add any of the sensors, readings, fan RPM counters etc from Everest to display on your G15 LCD. its awesome. i currently have on mine my CPU Clock, RAM speed, CPU FSB, CPU Vcore, CPU temp, GPU1 temp and GPU2 temp. really helps to monitor stuff during games. all you do is set Everest to minimise to system tray so its not in the way. takes up barely any resources.

For those of you pondering the 8800GTX, a 860/2400 PRO is not very far behind the 8800GTX at 620/2150

My mistake I was using Overdrive...but it does not seem to work in CF...

I get a rolling screen between segments running 06 when extremely OCed on the CPU. But that's it.
