Actually the cable was marked as PCIe and all the pins were correct except the last one had one corner rounded and one flat, I figured manufacturing defect that wasn't caught. The card worked fine with that cable in it.

Looking back, when I spent £260 on this card, it seems a complete waste of money..

All those cables did was add another two ground cables to the normal two.

Lol, 260 quit for ya and $670NZD for me. Yeah too bad I paid so much money to maximum use it for 2 yrs. Once this card finished its 2 yrs serving I'll get a new card and finally FSX on Vista for me.

Man the ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 looks pretty good even with the new and improved GTX285, and I can't wait for those high tech junkies to sell this card at a discount price LMAO.
