Awesome thread here! Glad to see lots of people didn't listen to all the bad hype about the 2900XT. I've had mine for a little over a month, and it impresses me everytime I get into a game. 90-250fps on Stalker with maximum settings, no AA, 1680x1050...my old A.I.W. X800XT wishes it could render that!

I just wanted to say that I think you should separate the 512MB from the 1GB in your list on the first page, so that it would go from this:

= 512MB = 1GB
To this:

And of course you might sort these two lists even further, such as by OS, or clock speeds, or etc., rather than by name, haha.

Do you absolutely NEED the 8-pin connector for OCing the 1gb version?
Where did you get it for that price??

Well I have to say that I've been a huge ati fan for a while and I hadn't picked up a dx10 card 'til recently (1950xtx started having some issues). I put the order in when the 1gb's were first announced and wow I'm glad I did. 3DMark06 @ 12120: http://service.futuremark.com/orb/re...=0&UID=9982455

Well I installed the card tonight and here is the first bench I ran. Lost Coast at 1920*1080 with EVERYTHING maxed out
Looking good so far....I'm really tired, as I've been having some X-Fi driver reinstall pains....I moved the card to a lower PCI slot and it doesn't seem to like it. Whatever
My clocks are just as advertised: 743/1000 nice!

I know I may have sounded like a nvidia fanboy in a few threads, but I have been playing with a 512mb version this weekend.
From all accounts this looks like a very good card for its price.
On an E6600 @3.6 we were able to get in the mid 12k on XP
I am impressed

I hope to see you guys get the 2001SE problem worked out to all the nvidia owners something to worry about, Some good competition never hurt.

Good luck to all......

Live on AMD\ATI (the giant killers)
