I'd like to be added to the HD2900XT club

I've got the Sapphire 2900XT, 512mb GDDR3.

3dmark06 score at 860/860 - 11946

It's late, I'll post some proof later on tomorrow.

The new drivers have been increasing performance every time they're released. Unfortuntely for me the 7.6's didn't work out too well.

I'm using the 7.6 Vista drivers and they are considerably better than their 7.6 XP counterparts.

I would say anything except for Diamond and Power Color. I know that the Saphire version comes with 3dMark06 and the MSI version comes with a 6pin to 8pin adapter. My version however didn't come with either. I would say get the cheapest good brand. I would say get the HIS now because it has a good rebate. Oh, and 3rd party cooling is just around the corner.

Out of curiosity, anyone else try and put their GPU fan to 100%? Mine sounds like a hairdryer, it's unbearable lol But the temps are real nice with it at like 45% speed. I've got it at 860/860 and it idled around 45C. Although it seems like I can't get it to stick to 45% fan speed, it changes whenever I change anything to do with the card, even clocks. Also, while the page was there and it worked in Rivatuner last night, tonight... the entire tab is gone and it doesn't work.

I just bought a 1gb GDDR4 version for $415 shipped!

Do you absolutely NEED the 8-pin connector for OCing the 1gb version?

Two 2x3pin PCIe connectors work fine with AMD GPU Clock Tool. I was using it for two days while my new PSU came in. Got a 11.8k 3Dmark06 score like that. I'd imagine it's the same for the 1GB version.
