*sigh*

Second warning. I've had two cups of coffee so I'm more lenient than usual.

No more after this though, and I will hold both parties accountable :-D

e6850@3600, 2x2900@700/1000, VISTA 32bit

06 = 15,325
05 = 23,487
03 = 55,439
01 = 46,772

Total: 141,023

CPU Vcore set on 1.55 volts on the P5k Deluxe, to hold 3600mhz stable. I am not going over 3600mhz, because anything over will require more volts, which I dont want to do.

This e6850 is going back to be replaced. I just got a bad one, that is so volt hungry.

Ok I am all confused now. The scores above were done on STOCK 2D settings. I am rerunning on STOCK 3D settings of 743/860.

Everytime I change the clocks to higher values of 800/900, it freezes my comp. Any other way to OC the cards?

If you change the 2d clocks it does that.

Leave the 2d's at stock and just OC the 3d's.

Yeah don't touch 2D clocks. If you use AMD GPU Tool then make sure you switch to 3D clocks first. I've found you can go as high as 850 core if you don't touch memory. Memory does less for me than Core.

I must not be using AMD GPU Tool right. I only received 15,753 on 06 with OC of 800/900. Lost 1 point in 05... Installing XP now to see how it benches on XP.

About how much room is tween those cards? The P5K looks like the PSIe slots are far enough apart that the 2900's don't touch and sound like airplanes taking off when they fire up. A few other boards I've seen barely give the fan room to breath.

Yep--they sound pretty quiet to me...and I have a low tolerance for fan noises.

About 1 1/2 inches from each other. Its plenty of room for air to come in. I will probably install a 120mm to help though. More air cant harm any.
