Hey. After reading several different things, I'm unsure as to whether the X850Pro will softmod to an X850XT. I was looking at the sapphire version with vivo, this one to be exact: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16814102498R
Does anyone know if it will successfully softmod? If not I'll just get an X800XL.

but as for ur next buy dont get a xl they suk at ocing id sugest a x800xt or x850xt then just flash from there cause u can find a x850 for about 350-400 last i checked and when u get it foloww the instructions in the first post and valla instant xtpe and a great ocer too

I cant afford to get an X800XT or X850XT as I'm 15 and currently unemployed.

humm.. well is agp an option? cause u maw try the agp pro vivo and see if ya can mod it

EDIT: Just found something interesting here:
X850XT:

Notice how in the bottom left corner, there are 8 IC's on the XT and there are only 6 on the Pro, with two spaces for them.

For just a few dollars more, you can get an X800XT (also at Newegg as well as some other places) if you're willing to wait on a rebate.

dont get a xl it stands for extra lag save up and buy a xt they are guaranteed flashere to pe and

also dont get that blue one u mentioned earlier it has no power conector


btw that is werid about those missing chips im gonna look into that and see whst i can find
