Ive been using overdrive to overclock...I figured there wasnt much point trying for higher clocks without voltage adjustments.

Its not that it didn't work to set clocks, but it was sort of useless for me I'd get vpu recovery trying to bench at anything higher then what overdrive can set. More voltage needed. Thats why your overclock surprised me I thought you defiantly have some way to set voltages or have done some volt mod. Or I have one of those cards with the bug.

No I haven't. I might try that see where I can get each one, maybe get a better 3dmark01 score.

I use rivatuner to overclock, works just fine (you can also adjust the fan in RivaTuner)
The only problem: the fan at 100% is too loud and at 30% it doesn't cool enough What i did: i already had a fan adapter (80 - 60 mm): http://www.sharkoon.com/html/produkt...ter/index.html i made a angel to it with a saw and made a hole in the plastic, then i glued the fan adapter on with plastic glue (the kind you use for scale-models) the extra fan blows directly over the first (alu) heatsink The pictures are in the attachements (saves lots of bandwith) I tried it out playing Call of Duty 2 (everything at high) with the extra fan off and the stock @ 25% the card reached about 100 degrees celcius then i tried it with the extra fan on and the stock fan @ 25% the card reached about 50 degrees celcius (i dont have screenshots of the temps so you will have to take my word on that) As soon as i have the time and some more money i will add another one wich will blow over the copper heatsink (and some nice LED fan af course )Disclaimer: of course this will void your'e waranty sorry for my bad english, i'm just a dutchman ![]() ![]()
