It seems to me like it's some sort of bandaid for the High End category for AMD until they can get their 4000 series out though.

I just personally think it's a "bandaid" because the 4000 series is coming and the 9800GX2 will probably beat the 3870X2

But even though its a "bandaid", its a pretty ownage bandaid. Its like the ones with superman, compared to the blank "life" ones.
