Well I just got my new rig together last night. And come to find out my MSI 3870 is no good. I wont give a signal to my monitor or anything. I put a old 7300gs in and it works fine. Just my luck
. Im rmaing it to MSI today. Just thought I would share my poor luck for you guys

Where did you buy the card from? If it was Newegg or another reliable site, you can RMA it to them and the turnaround should be much quicker than a manufacturer RMA.

Sure you tried everything on the board? Was the card getting power and heating up?

I've got 2 ASUS EAH3870's that I acquired from the local memory express. Both company of heroes opposing fronts bundled, 2nd one bought shortly after the other. Boxes Identical, down to identifying numbers on the boxes being only slightly different, but its like the 2 cards are revision 1.0 and 2.0. Long story short, flashed the bios from the newer one onto the older and haven't any problems that way. Techpowerup should have current bios's.
