Using this RBE 1.11, how easily can I flash a new BIOS after one I create fails?
I couldn't max it playably with an 8600gt

Second a pyro fire it would lag really bad. Got my 4850

I like it!

The reason I decided to also cool half the RAM is that I was worried about having enough pressure on those four big MOSFETs under the edge furthest from the screws.

...getting edgy, credit card is trying to jump out of my wallet to buy one of these things. once the sapphire toxic 4850 drops i'm getting it unless they are going to put out a 4870 toxic. then I'd def rather have a 4870 toxic single slot. trying to stay away from aftermarket cooling and a dual slot card.

AMD tool works great with the 8.6 hotfix from ATI site.

Has anybody started 48** series overclock thread yet???
I'm trying to beat my 8800GT 3Dmark 06 scores.
ATM I got 13175 with 690/1163 clocks. I may have to
run the card on my quad to beat 15512 though.

Where does it say that? AMD leaked that rumor to confuse and dilute the world from the awesomeness of this generation. It does have 800 steam processors, AMD has since confirmed that.

Well I have two on the way early next week! WOOT! I can't wait.....I'm going to take temp readings with the stock coolers on, then replace them with my water blocks.

Has anyone done this pencil mod yet?

Here's a better pic from TPU:
