Another from binormalkilla

So I got two of them. One is installed.

Tried CoD4 maxed out at 1920x1200 and it ran roughly twice as well as my HD3870 before it. I need some suggestions on what to do. I was thinking about trying HD4850 + HD3870. I have a crossfire board, but it's PCI-e 1.1 and in crossfire mode, 16x/4x.

Suggestions or requests or questions!?

I tried replacing the heatsink, but the heatsink is all one piece covering the GPU, RAM and voltage regulators. I don't have a heatsink for the voltage regulators, so I can't install my HR-03GT.

So I am guessing the performance lives up to the hype? How much did the hotfix help performance and heat wise?

Didn't do the hotfix yet.

CCC won't open, and I don't know if I got 8.5 or 8.6 with the CD.

I'm going to download and install 8.6 and the hotfix.

Send one to me?

Actually, I'm interested to know if there's any performance difference with the hotfix.

I installed mine with the hotfix drivers and it still runs hot with the fans at low %.
With ATI tool's 3D cube running it gets to 88c within 2 minites and the fan only goes up to 46%
It idles around 75c.

If you think rap sucks or isn't "real music", quit being pretentious and go sample something that isn't on the radio:
De La Soul, Lupe Fiasco, Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Brand Nubian, Canibus, A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Gang Starr, Digital Underground, Kanye West, Immortal Technique, etc.

Better yet, try to make a 4 minute spoken word poem read to a beat that doesn't suck or sound corny if you think hip hop has no talent.
