lol...

as said before, 4870, then CF when prices drop...

I was in a sort of similar position a while back - i was going to go for an OCed 3850, then i saw an OCed 3870 on sale for 20 pounds more than the 3850... and i went for the 3870, of course... I was so glad i did...

LOL yea its a lappy guys sorry for the confusion I have a 20inch monitor also, and I was thinking the 4850s buy one now for like 150 then another down the road but if I can scrounge together 300$ all at once then Ill go for the 4870, but like if I found a good deal on some 8800gts G80 for like 70$ each and SLI the 4850s or 70 would still be better right

Default Asus P5k and P5E have problems with memory

I know a guy who buy a P5K and 2x1024 gb 5800 OCZ memory. the problem is that memory don't work at 1066mhz, only works at 800mhz, he try to change to 1066 on bios but get blue screens. the strange is, he use 1 memory only and works at 1066mhz but with 2 memories only works at 800mhz, also I read in some foruns that P5E have the same problem.
I want to buy the P5E but i'm afraid!!!

anyone have a solution?

***. Dude make a new thread or something. Please don't go off subject on pre-existing threads. Work on your grammar too.

BTW, I also vote for saving up and getting the 4870 now. If you go with CF 4850s you'll get better performance now over a single 4870, but you'll also have a tough time upgrading in the future.
