I'm not a slave to the upgrade cycle lol. Before my current system I was running an am2 3800+, 2 gigs of ram, and a 7800gt for almost 2 years. It's just once you have the best, and something better comes out, it makes you want to upgrade haha.

you all feel outdated? i have a 640 GTS... and that 14 y.o. has a 7600...... if i can run everything but crysis at max on my 720p resolution, why do you all feel your cards are outdated?

I'll trade you a 4850 for a 3870X2! But seriously, why feel bad, your card is not outdated. They've released a new model yeah, but that cards not too much older. (maybe a year)

I don't feel outdated, and I have older hardware than the vast majority of you guys.

I'll feel "outdated" when my computer cannot effectively do what I need it to do, which is hardly the case at this point in time.
