Nice, I got the same score as your 4850, but I have an 3850 (cpu clock was 2.8Ghz so not that much higher). Seems like they aren't that good in '06 or something, but I bet you get loads more fps in games

i got 9600 with an x2 at 2.8 and a 3850. seems like it should be higher

I know what you mean, my P3 i had with a 32MB radeon card (don't know name) with 192MB ram, and XP(40 second bootup only!) i couldn't even run 3dmark, so i went from 0 to 13464, good stuff, congrats on new card

I installed the new leaked drivers, my score was 11,078, now it's 8238.

HAHA, dunno what the hell is going on.. My FPS in tf2 dropped pretty poorly as well.

When I had my 4850 I was getting 13500ish. Then I realized I don't even game so I returned it haha.

now that's impressive

to the OP that seems a low score to me ..my sig rig pulls 12,000 with no card OC

my cpu was at 3.2ghz but the e6600 should pull around the same stock


oh BTW jabawarkie .......what do your pci slots run at.....i also want 2x 4870s but my 2nd slot is only x4... so just wondering about the bottleneck factor...?

both run at 8x, i woulkd seriously recommend this mobo, its absolutly fantastic, supports both 55nm and 45 nm processors, it has 4 ddr2 slots and 2 ddr3 slots, 2 pci-e 3 pci, grweat north and southbridge coolers. and for a mear £70, brilliant for ocing aswell

£70 ....i payed £150 for mine with a bloody x4 slot
i suppose i should just wait for R700 & use the 1 slot ...

though those 2x DDR3 slots are very tempting ...along with the obvious 2 8x slots
