What sort of difference would I get in performance if my max res was 1600x1200?

I'm deadset on a 4870, but this is making me think twice about the 4850

I already said that 1920 x 1200 runs perfectly well with a HD4850.

At 1600 x 1200 it will only run better.

This review shows quite well the difference between the 4850 and 4870 at 1600x1200.
