That's the only app I use, that and crysis (actually playing), including 3dmark06. Atitool I strongly believe is the one that will tell you if you've got issues or not. ANY artifacting is instability in my book. Both of my cards are rocking 825/1100.

The HIS one i am testing is having problems over 810 but i am yet to test the Visiontek one. I guess i can settle for 810 on both cards. Its not like it shows vast improvements at higher clocks anyway(without volt modding them

).

What are your temps like at 825/1100? And at those temps what are the fans runniing at in full 3D to keep it cool?
I plan on doing this bios flash and possibly pencil modding when I get the AC Twin Turbo and I'll get back to everyone with the results..
Any suggetions for what company I shoolupd go with for the best chance of getting a good overclocker? Or is it a crap shoot more or less?

They're all reference designs right now, I just happened to get two visionteks (one from the egg, one from best buy). Temps? 42-44ºC idle, 58-61ºC Load.

I haven't done the pencil mod but I did change my card volts to 1.29 from 1.26. I am running at 825/1050. This so far is the highest without artifacts in atitool. I really don't want to try over 1.3v yet since this card is new and works fine stock!

I have my fan setting kind of low so I don't hear it when idel. Also it seems to keep me in the high 50's when on load and fan speed is from 35%-42%. Here is a SS of load and idel fan speed, temps, and 3dmark.

I love how easily these cards overclock. And with a pencil mod with good air cooling, I'm thinking 900Mhz with 4.5Ghz vram is totally possible.
