Mounted a D-Tek fuzion GFX2.Have a 120 fan with shroud on both side's.Id recommand a full water block.A lot of heat is generated besides the GPU.
http://ekwaterblocks.com/shop/produc...roducts_id=289 $140+ with shipping and everthing. ![]() Koollance also makes one just dont like it. http://www.koolance.com/water-coolin...product_id=706 Im waiting on DD to make one.

The asus striker II formula has a low profile nb. Every other X38 and X48 board has a much larger nb sink. Not to mention most of them are crap. The rampage formula I currently own passively runs my NB in the mid 50's under load. I had to remove my heatpipes and replace the TIM, add cardboard risers to the springs that hold the NB to increase torque, and ghetto mod a 60mm fan on top of the chipset. Now it runs around 51C under load. Still way too hot.... Ironic as I've been an SLI guy for years and we always heard "those SLI chipsets sure run hot....". My last board, the EVGA 790i Ultra ran the NB in the mid 40's... Also, that is an antec 1200. There are only so many cases that provide a space between a bottom mounted power supply and the bottom edge of the motherboard. If you look at a pic of my case with a dual slot card in the bottom, you can see that there is no space for an additional fan below it. And my case is a full tower. and to top it all off, thats a $400 motherboard....
