Okay, so I've got my pair of 4870s running in crossfire, and I recently got my Fuzion GFX V2s installed on them, but for whatever reason they wont load into windows when they are both installed.
For example: If I have both cards installed, they POST and show all the pre-windows startup stuff, but once it gets past the windows loading bar, which would be the desktop, the screen goes black and just sits there. SO, I've tried both cards in either slots and they all work independently, but once I get them up in crossfire, the **** hits the fan and I can't do anything. I had them both going when they were on air cooling in crossfire, so I know its not my power supply not giving me enough juice. Sooo...basically...does anyone have any ideas? Does it sound like the cards? The mobo? The PSU? I'm pretty confused. You'd think that I would use LESS power without the stock fans running. .. .

doubt it, the XT 750 is perfect for 4870 CF my guess it that one of the cards has a broken fan or something. try puting one card in at a time. my second guess would be the motherboard PCI-e slots

Or one of the power connectors on the power supply is faulty.

No, I cannot load into safe mode. And I'm going to get to find out if its the motherboard whether I like it or not...seeing as one of my solid-state capacitors jumped off the board this morning.
I wasn't TOO impressed with the overclocking of this board though, so I'm gonna see about the DFI X48 boards or the Asus Rampage Formula. They look pretty good and sounds like they overclock pretty stressfree.

the rampage formula has been a strong performer thus far.

Did You change anything else because that happens when you add a new cpu or mobo. Try running a linux disk. If that works then you'll need to reinstall windows
