Default HD 3850 BIOS Flash Assistance

I have a Diamond HD 3850 Ruby edition; stock clocks are 725/900. I tried overclocking it with Catalyst Control Center, but the results were surprisingly mediocre. The best I could do is 725/925. Load temperatures were around 60º C.

I was a bit upset with the cooling on this card. When I had my AGP 3850, case temperatures were low. Since installing the Diamond, my case temperatures were upwards of 40º C. So, I decided to invest in a Vantec IceberQ 6. My load temperature is down to 54º C, case temperature is down to 32º C. Since the change, I have been able to overclock the card only slightly more, to the tune of 725/930.

It is my opinion I need a voltage increase.

I have used GPU-Z to read my BIOS. I then used CBABE to modify the BIOS; I have increased the voltages on 'High' 3D Clocks and UVD Clocks to 1.325 V. My question is, what is the best way to get that BIOS onto the card now? I attempted using ATIWinFlash.exe to read my card data from the command line, but that sits around indefinitely.

To that end, I also downloaded ATIFlash.exe and put it on a floppy. Also on the floppy is atiflash.chg, the Stock BIOS, and the Modded BIOS. Does the floppy need to have write protection off? How dangerous is the BIOS flashing to do? If something goes wrong, can it be fixed without needing a second video card? Will I see any performance increases with the increased voltage or only increased temperature?

Also, while I am here, a question on my power supply. I have a Seasonic-manufactured Antec Truepower Trio 650 W. I will be adding another Diamond 3850 to my rig in about two weeks. Can my power supply handle both cards after the voltage mod? If not, can it handle it without the mods?
