Cause I don't have any installed at the moment! I suppose I should crank it up, throw in 100% fan speed and bench the beans out of it (while I have the house to myself and all)

I think I could swing that with the fan on stupid-fast. I leave the fan at 30% though for noise-sake (stock speeds).

Can I ask - if you ahdn't bought the 4870 and the 260 was 170 quid now, which would you buy? Considering the 260 can oc to 280 speeds at stock?

KILLER CARDS nonetheless! I'm hyper jealous!

I'd have stuck with the 4870, but I'm a fanboy, but I'd be happy (performance wise) with either one. Given the number of nVidia optimized games, I suppose you can't lose either way.

@Brain, I don't know what safe clocks are yet and I personally don't plan on finding out (bad enough I gotta have the latest and greatest, I don't want to break it).
