Default Why cant i use my DVI?

when i plug my DVI chord into my monitor no picture appears on the screen. I can only use my VGA

make sure either its on auto detect signal or manually set to digital signal.

Have you switched the input on your monitor to DVI? Some won't auto detect.

i had the same problem too, it happens to the best of us, lol. i ran my pc on vga for like 6 months because i couldnt get DVI to work, lol. and it was that simple, i finally figured it out 6 months ago when i bought a new cable and it still didnt work and i looked and saw a button
