Oh no not saying the AC is ugly
Just agreeing with Ulike2know that his case is not the best looking in the world.
I hope the AC gets a release soon. I need to do something to cool this card down before my whole system melts.

That sucks! Makes me wonder if it is just sold out because of popularity. So far, this is the only aftermarket cooler made for the x2.

I can't seem to get a response from the seller either. Not sure what to do.
Perhaps one small water cooling loop wouldn't hurt. But the cost + maintenance is just not a lot of fun. Especially since I just sold all my WC stuff.
Sigh. It never seems to be simple with me

LOL, that sucks! Why did you get rid of your WC gear?

Well first I bought a smaller case and we have been trying to make the PC area in the house smaller as its in the bedroom
I also got a bit sick of draining the thing out every couple of months.
Kind of wish I had stuck with it now of course but what can you do.
I currently have not the money or time to take up WC again. Its a shame as it looks cool and performs so well. I just wish I could sort this card out. Its not like I even want to overclock it or anything like that.
I just want to be able to run it at stock under 100c without being deafened. Now that is not too much to ask is it?

The seller has agreed to send some of the cash back that I gave as part x with my GTX 280FTW. Just after doing the deal the price of the 4870x2 went down by £70 county wide!
Then it arrived and I have had nothing but problems.
Its not the sellers fault as the whole time he has had it it has been working fine.
I think it must be me and my curse

You could also try to take the stock cooler off, remove the stock TIM and replace with some MX-2 or AS5
