No problem man, it happens :P

Not sure if I mentioned, my Antec Truepower Quattro 850 wasn't sufficient for my dual 4870 X2s (for some reason), so I went overkill with this new PSU xD Works great now!

Fixed my problems anyway. ATI Tray Tools' OSD is just terrible on DX10 performance. It literally cuts my cards' power in half. Took that out, and DX10 now flies

Hi All,

Got myself a 4870x2 and applied an Accelero Xtreme cooler.
I know the card is very hot even though the cooler is great.
I am going to get myself 3x1920 monitors and plan to render 5760x1200 on 4870x2. Probably it will struggle a little with some AA at such resolution.
I was thinking about trying to add some performance by overclocking my CPU and GPU/Mem until 5870x2 hits the market.
The question is has anyone here ever tried to overclock this monster with at least slight perf increase and what temps they were having? What are the chances to the baby to be burnt down to ashes after OC?

My temps without OC are:

Hi Guys,
Are you able to push sound through hdmi to the secondary monitod (HDTV)?

When I had HD4850x2 I used to have two HDMI outputs in control panel/sound. With HD4870x2 I have only one and it seems to be working only with primary monitor, even when I switch cables around (HDTV still as secondary). The only way to push sound to my HDTV is to unplug Monitor and leave only HDTV - it works great then.
Just wondering now wether I messed up something with the drivers, or is it the way 4870x2 works.
