given that I have a pair of HD4870's in Crossfire, I will be able to do a direct comparison.
You better be testing with 1920x1200 or more otherwise its pointless !

But congrats anyway

Btw dont you use a 22inch Monitor

I wanna get this card aswell but im hoping PCIE 1.0/1.1 dosent bottleneck the card as im using a P35-DS3L.

Here are a couple of more pics.

Interesting. The CCC does not show the card as crossfire enabled (So you wouldn't be able to enable/disable one of the cores).

Its definitely a brute in terms of size but the fan is actually quieter than those on my 4870's'

Mmansueto, I still have the two 4870's (Although I packed them up). I'll pull one out later and run a quick tri-fire run for giggles.

Yes I have a 22" monitor (1680x1050) but I am picking up a 24" monitor this weekend (undecided between two BenQ models) so I'll be able to make some higher res runs.

Odd thing. My understanding of ram and 32 bit OS is that it could only see 4 gb of it less whatever your video cards have as well. Considering this card has 2 gb of ram, I figured, it would only show 2 gb in windows. Still showing 3 gb though

Weird, that is my understanding of it as well. Thanks for the tri-fire run. I can not wait to see what this card can do.

EDIT: WOW, just barely cleared those fans.

yep. I didn't want to lose that fan as it not only cools the video card, but it also blows a stream of air across the northbridge.

smart thinking on ati's part though. They put the power connectors on the face of the card rather than the end.
