Damn I had quite a troubling start. I thought I got one of the bad 1000W Thermaltakes PSU's but it turns out what the beeping sound was, was my UPS which can't handle the draw of my system with a X2 in it. (Should have guessed, I had the same problem with an SLI 8800GTX system lol)

Time to upgrade that I guess, for how I can use its surge protection side but if the power goes out so does my comp..

Now after running to Frys and getting another PSU since I thought the thermaltake was dead (it has a glitch that needs some finess to get it working again...) now I gota rewire my entire comp once again... Sigh.

Benchmarks to be posted soon...

Oh also, when running a benchmark in 06 and vantage, are all you guyses scores stock settings or do you run at native res like 1680X1050? Do you guys want both a stock and 1680 bench #?

My Vantage score was with the video cards at stock. The resolution vantage runs at is based on the preset you use. If you use a different resolution, your score will not be calculated.

Ok so 3Dmark 06 pulls 16000 at stock CPU and GPU. At 3.6Ghz CPU I pull 20853 touching nothing else. I will play around with it more in a bit but for now I am supremely happy and excited. Playing Crysis a bit I was able to pull 30fps+ average at 1680x1050 in both the CPU and GPU demo. 64bit, DX10, Very High Detail... Ill post screens after a format tomorow to get everything dialed in clean.
