Without messing with the fan speed mine idles at 81C, I put the fan on 80% and it now idles at 45C.

can you stand the noise with the speed at 80%? that high makes my office sound like a jet is taking off in it. i keep mine at 35% on desktop and 50% when i game. and 50% isnt too noisy and i never break 70C which is what i capped out at in temps when i had my 3870X2

There seem to be some issues with the 8.8 and 8.9, so should I use driver 8.7 and should I use it with our without CCC?

Yes use the original disc drivers. What issues are you having?

I have tried it with both and didnt notice a difference really. I do note that my ccc wouldnt allow changes to aa in crysis but would with medal of honor (after a hack) and call of duty 4. Kinda weird if you ask me.
