Can anyone tell me what driver revision this is?

Its off the disc that came with the HD4870x2.

The 8.7 catalyst drivers are July 21 where the date on these looks like older?

The 8.6 drivers were June 18 .

CCC should tell you the exact version, look under info center > graphics software.

Pretty sure you have to be on Vista for CFX to work.

I don't think so. I ran a pair of HD4870's in crossfire with XP without issue.

So far its benching the same as my pair of 4870's. Once I get a bigger monitor, the card should pull ahead due to its larger ram.

Would that prevent it from even sending a signal to the screen before windows kicks in?


Not too worried if its not the case. I have Vista 64 bit home premium sitting here ready to go (when I have the time needed to reformat/reload).
