yet another reason DFI SUCKS!!! but seriously they had the same issue with the 3870x2's and they fixed it pretty quick so lets hope they do the same here

Hi grunion and all other 4870X2 fellows,
Has anyone experience with 2x 4870X2 on a DFI X48? I was able to run one X2 after installing the X48DD820 Beta BIOS, afterwards I tried Tri-Fire with 1x 4870 + 1x 4870X2, worked great so far (except Catalyst's error message that I don't have a properly optimized CFX configuration). Now I was trying 2x 4870X2 and the screen remains black right after the POST. I tried both cards separately, tried both with TriFire, tried with the second PCIe slot as the primary, tried all DVI connectors etc.  Are there any new Betas (or BIOS Mods) resolving that problem? (Please don't say that I'll need a new mobo)  Thanks in andvance!
