Default 4870x2 and DFI x48

I've been informed that there are compatibility issues. If anyone already has this setup or is about to let us DFI owners know what you find.

btw, if this setup is not compatible for me what would be a good mb for me?

ASUS Rampage Extreme ? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131334

I'm not too crazy about downloading a beta bios for fear of messing up mb. I really like my DFI as I'm sure there is a lot performance there waiting for me to discover. I've just not had the time.

I'll pm you when I decide for sure exactly what I'm going to do. I might keep it for another rig. I was really wanting this board to play with and just see how high I could oc my 8500 and 8600 on air compared to wc.

but DFI boards do work with 2 4850/4870 right? So, it is not really a big deal since not alot of ppl would buy a 4870x2. Well. not at 480:d.

Yes every other form of CF works.

Bad pr for DFI when their top shelf board is not compatible with the current top shelf gfx.
