nice winnings! I bet in CF those cards would perform pretty well on mid range resolution..
Of course, this is dependent on working drivers

yeah I have no idea if they will work well in crossfire, but I'll report back when drivers work. Hopefully tuesday, I'll get word back from someone at diamond on how to get the drivers to work.

You won 2 cards before they're even released! That's awesome. There's gotta be a way to get the drivers for em. They have to have drivers they used for testin the card at the very least. They gotta be leaked on the net somewhere.

I've had no luck finding them. I've tried torrents, the ati site, and as a last ditch effort, I even tried google (lol)! no luck.

Found some! The latest beta 8.9's I think recognize the card. It's quite impressive for what it is really. I'm using the 1 gig card right now, tried out some tf2 4xAA and I couldn't tell a difference from my 8800gt as far as the feel of the game is concerned. I don't have any actual benchmarks right now, but i'll work on that for the next day or so.
GPU-Z validation is way not right, but it at least confirms the card's model number as the 4670. http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/f7z86/

Yeah those are 4670s for sure. Performance around a 3850 I think.(320shaders, unsure of core speed).
Diamondmm has been sending these out to people instead of 4870s. Kinda interesting...
